Physiotherapy

How can our physiotherapy help you?

Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability. Physiotherapists help people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice.

Physiotherapy can manage all conditions that you would see the GP for help. We are trained to help with pain and function using a deeper understanding of the issues and how to manage these issues.

There is not any condition that can not be helped or improved, if the injury or problem is not for physiotherapy we work closely with the GP’S and have access to orthopaedics so can get steroid injections/MRI and surgery arranged.

Physiotherapy for children

The team is on hand to offer Physiotherapy for children that have had an injury or developed muscle or joint pains. There are many children’s conditions that are easy treated once diagnosed.

Overall, musculoskeletal problems have a significant impact on the quality of life-not only in adults but also in children and teenagers.

Although these problems often are discussed as issues that affect older persons, in many cases they begin at a young age and progress to end-stage disease during adulthood.

Given these facts, developing musculoskeletal education programs for children and teenagers is an important step toward improving injury prevention to preserve quality of life and to decrease the cost of care.
